Steàll à Iomadh Lòn

Tha mi air an leabhar seo a leughadh, 's chòrd e rium gu mòr. Tha a' Ghàidhlig cho beairteach, 's tha deagh stòiridh ann cuideachd. Tha deagh ghnàthasan -cainnt ann, mar:
'agus le m' anail nam uchd'  -  with my breath in my chest, state of anxiety (195)
' daoine aoigheil le fiamh a ghàire air daonnan'  -  a friendly man always with a smile on his face (196)

's toil leam 'fiamh a' ghàire'   the start of a laugh, as it were

'bha mi gu toirt thairis le sgìths'  - I was overcome by tiredness (196)

'chan urrainn dhomh a dhol às àicheadh gun do chleachd mi an strap bho àm gu àm '   - I can't deny that I

used the strap from time to time  (Seonaidh A was a teacher in the 60s)  (199)

Mar bu dual thadhail mi air Taigh a' Chladaich, taigh-seinnse Westford)  - as was my custom, I called at the Shore House, Westford pub'

Sin dìreach rud beag, 's math a b' fhiach dhuibh a leughadh
